Liz Marshall

Gather Pottery is owned and operated by Liz Marshall, an enthusiastic hobby potter who loves the community that forms around making things out of clay. After over a decade running her own recruiting business, she’s excited to combine her knowledge of operating a business with the joy she finds in ceramics.

Alison Kan Grevstad

Alison Kan Grevstad is an active member of the Seattle arts community as a practicing ceramic and visual artist. She has shown her work in gallery shows in Seattle (Gallery Mack, A Gallery, Pottery Northwest, ArtEast) and Arizona (Tang Gallery). Deeply influenced by nature, her art and design ethic give voice to underrepresented populations with a focus on cultural and environmental awareness.

She creates both sculptural and functional work and enjoys exploring new approaches to ceramic surface design.

Amanda Snouffer

In recent years award-winning Chocolatier and Pastry Chef Amanda Snouffer has brought her deep knowledge of creating gorgeous confections to the world of ceramics. Having worked and taught with some of the world’s most talented and respected chefs, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge in teaching creative arts. Her typical classes include both handbuilding and wheel throwing, with an emphasis on creating fun and lively pieces.

 

Dustin Low

Dustin is a Seattle based artist, originally from Boulder, CO most recently living in Pittsburgh, PA where he was an active member of the clay community. Dustin’s personal art practice focuses on functional vessels with applied imagery via airbrush and hand drawings to tell simple narratives. When not creating objects in clay Dustin works as an industrial designer creating products like glassware and soft goods. He has shown his work in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Denver.

He is excited to explore the Seattle art community and is looking forward to meeting everyone at Gather.

John Masello

John Masello is an interdisciplinary artist and educator currently based in Seattle, WA. John earned an MFA from The Ohio State University in 2020 and a BFA from Illinois State University in 2016. Over the past several years, John has had work included in exhibitions at Gallery Mack, Foster/White Gallery, Dodomu Gallery, METHOD Gallery, The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences, Pottery Northwest, OZ. Seattle, Urban Arts Space (Columbus OH), Wild Goose Creative, ROY G BIV, Kirkland Arts Center, James May Gallery, Main Street Arts (Clifton Springs NY), Angela Meleca Gallery, Flower City Arts Center, and M.G. Nelson Gallery. John has recently been making sculptures and collage-based works using plastics, fabrics, paper, and ceramic.

Nat Grau

Nat Grau is one of our studio techs and teachers. It all started when she took a Ceramics 1 class in high school- she was hooked. Her pottery is constantly changing and evolving, as she is always on the hunt for a new technique to implement into her work. She’s eager to exchange ideas and brainstorm with our students and members! A graduate from Temple University with a degree in Film and Media, she has worked in set design and decoration for most of her professional career. She’s excited to continue her ceramic journey with us and see the Gather community grow!
